Monday, April 17th
During day one of week five, we attended lectures held by Johno of the game studio Nornware, and by Science Center 2047. During the first lecture, which I found particularly informative and interesting, we discussed game development, game design and programming with the experienced indie dev Johno.

Tuesday, I had plans to work on a save system for the player's settings and progress. Instead, I had an idea to simplify the
UI design and started working on that. I also spent time helping Felicia on the artist side in creating the assets I needed for
the notepad/clipboard.
In the afternoon, the whole school listened to a lecture by Moritz Hammer on behalf of Embark studios.
Above, kitchenware by Ellinor, a grand clock by Wille, speed props by Felicia and level work by Lucas.

Another day filled with attending lectures.
Thursday, April 20th
Thursday I quickly set up all the sound classes we will need for the game, and got put in the logic which allows our player to interact with the clipboard UI that I am implementing. I also found an issue in the logic I had written for the UI system, so I sat down to plan some new solutions. In the afternoon, a daughter company of Zordix came and held a lecture for the school, which everyone attended. I also managed to replace many of my temporary clipboard assets with the actual models.
Above, you see a populated upstairs living room area, a bed by Loke, texturing progress on the antagonist by Oskar, and vegetation by Felicia.
Friday, April 21st
During the last day of week five, I worked on a save system. I also created a selection screen where the player can choose which save file to play on. Then, I worked some more on fixing the logic of the clipboard, before Unreal Engine crashed and corrupted the files I had worked on that day. Being unable to recover them, I got to work redoing all the work I had lost.
Valuables which the player must steal, by Felicia. A lamp, by Wille, and kitchen assets by Ellinor.
